The China Bar has always stood out because it 's one of the few that displays the well known 'duck ' hanging in the window. I was going to grab takeaway but instead this time I ate in. Our regular restaurant for a quick, tasty meal with warm hospitality. The beef brisket and wonton noodle soup is rich and hearty. The roast combination duck and pork is succulent and sweet. The seafood combination dry noodles was a bit too salty but the prices are very reasonable with a wide range of choice. The friendly manager always makes us feel very welcome and the waitstaff are polite and efficient. We prefer to eat at our local restaurant rather than an international chain because it supports the local economy.
I came here for lunch and ordered a takeaway wonton noodle soup. I was served really quickly, despite it being busy. The soup, wonton and noodles comes in two containers. One holding the noodles and wontons and the other with broth. It was perfect for a winters day. Each wonton had a whole prawn inside, and the soup was so tasty. I would definitely come back for lunch.
Decent and authentic fish head curry. Service is non existent across all China Bar stores. Very crowded and loud store to eat in at. Isn't exactly the spot to catch up with friends but if you're just after a quick and cheap lunch this is the place to go.

Charkwetiau here is pretty good. Other dish can be so so only. Would normally come here for supper as they open 24/7. Service isn’t the best but you would come here for the food.
