I didn't receive my dinner. My drink was missing and the lid on my potatoes and gravy wasn't secure, so it spilled all over my bag. I also didn't get a receipt. The manager offered for me to pick up my missing items, but I was already home and my meal was ruined. Since it was their mistake, I asked if they could deliver, but they said they couldn't. The staff need to communicate more clearly and slowly as I had to ask for repeats multiple times.
Update: I spoke to the store manager and he explained the situation. I appreciate the effort to make things right and apologize. I have fond memories of this location from my youth, but I will not edit my original review. I will raise my star count due to the call back and effort to correct the mistake, as the food has never disappointed me.

when I lived in chicago, the chicken of the church was really good. but this one in pharr is just as good. I love it. Book a table now
have there and took my order and gave it to me quickly and well and hot as if it was simply cooked very corgule.
Service was very slow even though only 3 customer. Chicken overcooked , dry and very small.
Rude staff, never back! I'm going to drive for 10 minutes instead of handling idiots!
