I have visited this locally owned restaurant multiple times, and their food has consistently been well-prepared and ready on time for either pickup or dining in. The prices remain reasonable, providing enough food to last for several meals throughout the week. My personal favorites include the braised pork belly with tofu, the garlic eggplant, and the surprisingly delicious cumin beef. Their beef noodle soup and dumplings are also great options that will definitely fill you up. I'm a big fan of the braised and stir-fried dishes here. I haven't yet had a chance to try some of their preserved items, but I plan to do so in the future.

Holy moly Cindy's Kitchen is sooo tasty!!! I've been here a few times now and their food is absolutely delicious. This is a small and unassuming restaurant in a tiny strip mall in Hacienda Heights, California. You would have never guessed that the food was killer here. Some things I love include: Fried peanuts (available in boxes on the counter) Cold dishes: cooked peanuts, cucumber salad, tofu skin salad, bittermelon Noodles: beef tendon noodle soup or beef tendon dry noodles for summer Protein: stir fry beef dish with cilantro Can't wait to come back soon to try more food!!

Small hole in the wall mom and pop Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious as the beef Noodle soup and spicy garlic eggplant are recommended. The place is very small with only 5 tables and no air conditioning. We were sweating as we ate dinner. They offer frozen dumpling and cold dishes to go. Lots of people come here for take out due to the small restaurant. Service was average. Small parking lot out front. Prices were reasonable and plan to be back to try other stuff when the weather is cooler. The lack of air conditioning is troubling. Book a table now
Local Restaurant, Budget-Friendly, and Old-School CuisineIt was my last meal in LA for this trip, and Cindy's was our final choice! In brief, Cindy's Kitchen offered delicious food at a budget-friendly price. The portions were generous, especially the Beef Noodle soup – it absolutely must-have. The side dishes were also excellent and served as good time-killers. It seems this place is taken care of by only one friendly Ta-Jie (Big Sister). So food may take a bit longer time than usual.
Small local restaurant with some great beef noodle soup and homemade dumplings. Best way to describe the flavors are warm and homey. Super tender and large portions of beef and tendon with bok choy to contrast the dark rich soup and perfectly cooked noodles. Ask for the homemade chili oil and mustard greens to pair everything together. Vegetarian options: Stir fried pickled vegetables and vegetable dumplings as an option.
No frills dining. Small eating area but usually no wait to eat here. I ordered the beef noodle soup with tendon. They’re really generous with noodles and just enough braised beef, tendon and bokchoy. Frozen house made wontons, buns, and dumplings are available for purchase as well.
The food here taste good but not oily at all, this place is probably one of the healthiest Taiwanese restaurant in town. Plus the drinks are savory and cheap, and service is good. Book a table now
I've tried nearly everything on the menu, but the standout dish worth mentioning is their pickle fish soup—it's truly exceptional. The other items were pretty average.
