The food here is very good. The servings are a good size, the staff friendly and there is not a long wait for your meals. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and cosy and not too loud like a like of clubs. Unfortunately we only discovered this place on our last visit but as we are regulars to the area we will be dining here whenever we visit. I ordered the seafood platter which was big enough for two people and the prawns, mussels and oysters were fresh. Also the price was exceptionally cheap for all the food you got.
Four of us had dinner here tonight (24/6). We dine here regularly and always sit at Table 9. Duck was on the specials menu tonight, and as we had previously enjoyed duck here, all four of us ordered the duck. Portions were generous and the duck was delicious, served with mash and vegetables. We were all very happy with our meals. Service as always was polite, friendly and helpful. A top club to enjoy dinner. No wonder we are happy regulars
While there's parts of the whole venue that are pretty good, the meal's we were served were really only just ok. The burger which shows on the specials menu is pretty basic and the meat patty quite dry. Bit overpriced for a 'special.' Pizzas seem ok but again are a bit steep in pricing as well.My own rule is that an average meal means I won't be back to eat there, but I'll certainly grab a beer if I'm passing through again.
We joined as temporary members while on holidays. The fisherman's basket was exemplary, The prawn linguini was also very good indeed. Over the two weeks we were in Batehaven, we ate at Catalina five times, and succumbed to the fisherman's platter only once. It was huge and delicious, and enough for two. Prices are reasonable.

It was lovely to be greeted by a very nice receptionist and made to feel welcome. The food was great and we enjoyed the parma night with great variety to choose from. The meals came quickly and the food was delicious. A great night out and the kids enjoyed their kids meals with a fun box to keep them entertained.
For a club, this place offers really good quality food. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. If only they would build upstairs and offer dining with a water view.
Had a lot of lunches over a 6 day stay. We enjoyed every meal we had, has a lot of different meal and all food so fresh and tasty well done for your food.
The best pizza I have had in a long time and great service, which is a nice change of pace from other restaurants in the area.
