Hidden behind the Marina we would have missed this place ( in our defence we were looking at the boats not the signs). We managed to get an outside table without a booking and had the perfect views of the Bay. There is plenty of indoor seating, out of the elements if needed. The waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The meals ( even the starters and small bites) were big enough. The bruschetta was the best I have had in years. I would go back for that alone. TIP Its was busy on a normal weekend so I recommend you make a booking if this is peak time or a long weekend. We loved the free parking nearby too.
Booking was handled efficiently and no hassles on arrival, our table was ready in a welcome spot near the log fire. Being a waterfront establishment, it can be chilly so always check and seek a spot near the fire in winter! Bring layers of clothes to ensure your comfort. This place has a good rustic and unpretentious atmosphere which makes one feel at ease. Fine dining it isn't but the food is certainly to our taste, served promptly and (importantly) hot.Prices are what one would expect with no surprises, service is attentive and cheerful, parking is plentiful. Just the shot for a casual nosebag.
The food was okay and the service passable but whatever you do don't connect. Read the terms and conditions first and then if you have a weak mind then u all means connect. I wouldn't do any banking here without a VPN locked in to full screening. Do businesses ever check the shiny tooth salesman selling the stuff!And the coffee was so hot it burnt my tongue. Just awesome.
This restaurant is located in a great position overlooking the water and we were very excited to make our local. We have dined here for breakfast and the food was fine, but on every occasion the service has been slow and staff have been dismissive and unprofessional. We have given up going as we always feel unwelcome.We now just go to The Farm Gate outside.

Visited on 2 occasions - once for coffee and again for lunch. Both times were an excellent experience. My lunch was possibly the best steak sandwich I have ever eaten - I later found out that they use the uneven shaped pieces of fillet steak. No wonder!! The coffee was great and the views are just beautiful.
I love this venue. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I called in mid-morning for a great coffee and delicious chocolate and hazlenut cake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is beautiful sitting out on the deck watching the river traffic pass.
Just had lunch there. The view of the water is great, today being windy it was extra special. I had the King Fish and others had filet steak all good. Batemans Bay is a very pretty Place and having somewhere on the water to eat is excellent.Will go again.
would die a trip to jjjs with cocktails on the balcony with views of the harbour entree of beautiful narooma and a seafood knower as main. personal was super efficient and friendly would definitely return

My wife and I really enjoyed our Sunday breakfast at JJ's. Poached and scrambled eggs perfectly cooked. Lovely Coffee. Good Atmosphere and a great position on the water. Definitely recommend.
Went for lunch. Great spot, very average food and service. Come on Bateman's Bay you can do better than this.
