the first time we eat here! that is the Japanese curry restaurant! yay! I love Japanese curry flavors that are very different from the Indian curry. Japanese curry is sweeter. there was a 20-minute waiting time, but it was worth it! we checked on yelp and it was convenient to keep the track if our table was ready. during the waiting we looked through the menu and soon learned that there were so many options and a decision was difficult. I ordered the herbal curry and added aubergines and spinat( additional vegetables are a few cent more. they can add more rice or less than the standard and the price is a few cent more or less. they can get their curry from level 1 spice up, the standard leve...
If you are in search of delicious Japanese curry, this restaurant is definitely my top choice. The portion sizes are great for the price and we always order the double chicken with extra-large rice with 50% seasoning. The additional items like the veggie and shrimp croquettes are a tasty addition. They also offer calamari for those who enjoy it, and it is very flavorful. I placed an order for pickup at this restaurant and checked in with a female employee. She took my name but then ignored me for 10 minutes, while my order sat on a shelf getting cold. The customer service was lacking. The curry had a chalky texture, as if the spices were added to the sauce as an afterthought. However, the portions were good for the price.
Cocoichi is consistently delicious. I enjoyed the decent kick in the spicy level 10. I wish the chili powder used in the U.S. stores was as good as the one in Japan. The wait for the food was a bit long, but understandable, given the current circumstances affecting everyone. Book a table now
The curry at this restaurant is delicious. I ordered level 4 spice and it was amazing - not too spicy, but you can still taste the spice. The cutlet is also moist and crispy, which is perfect. They are generous with the portion of curry they serve.
The Keema Curry is absolutely delicious! We also ordered a spicy level 5 side cutlet. The portions are generous enough to feed two people. And don't forget to try the Garlic Nan with Cheese Love - it's a must-have!
