slow, awakened and overpriced. here a few times, but 20 minutes (no line or others waiting) for some microwave food is kind of silly. the employees are at best apathetic, rude and awakened to the outside. the lady in the register was nice. the rest of the staff has tied around the kitchen area. ordered a latte, a quiche (precuted, individually wrapped from the refrigerator) a muffin (from the bakery ad) and a fruit (like froot) smoothie (ice mixed with a premix syrup/concentrate with a somewhat ready whip). eat tastes ok, but not wait, taste or rude staff.
The restaurant has a variety of comfortable seating options, including cozy nooks perfect for enjoying a warm drink and reading. I had a great time meeting up with friends as our spot allowed for easy conversation. I can imagine the porch being a lovely spot on a warm spring day, and the fireplace nook would be ideal for enjoying a hot tea or cocoa in the winter. The iced tea I ordered was perfectly brewed, not too weak or bitter. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place for a delicious meal. Food: 5 stars.
Cool coffee house located right near SouthWestern College. They give student discounts to Cowley , Southwestern and Pratt college students. Just show your student ID. Coffee is very good. They have breakfast as well. If your in Winfield KS you need to stop in.
update: they have finally opened their interior food. good food and coffee, sometimes a little slow. be winter, 25 degrees at the moment, and they must stand outside to order and wait for it. it is annoying because they have a perfect lobby.

chc is one of the best coffee houses I've ever had. the service is excellent, very fast; they have never got my order wrong. her quiche is fantastic, her coffee is simply the best in the city, and the rest is also great.
Cute coffee shop tucked in a urban neighborhood. Love the outdoor spaces and gardens on the property. Pretty good coffee and they do have vegatarian options
