If you have never tried Cool Springs Fish Bar and Restaurant, you are missing a terrific dining experience. From the moment that you are greeted by their lovely hostesses, your dining experience is so worth while trying. You will be hooked as we have been for the last eighteen plus years. Always consistent, lovely presentation, friendly knowledgeable staff and an atmosphere that will keep you coming back time after time. The menu is varied for the fish lover, the meat lover, pasta lover and much more. I was here several years ago with some friends and family and have wanted to return with my husband. Well finally the opportunity came about last night for our anniversary. They did not disappoint! In fact, they went way beyond what I remembered. Outstanding isn't a big enough compliment. The oyster sushi was amazing as well as our entrees. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit this little piece of heaven on Earth for a meal of a lifetime!
Best seafood in Delaware...period! I love that you walk into an unpretentious mid-century nondescript building to find a vibrant 60's vibe in its decor. That's just the beginning! Only open 25 hours a week, Dennis and Caroline have it down. Oysters sashimi or spicy scallops to start with...and entrees that melt in your mouth! My wife and I visit relatives here once a year and make a point of visiting 2-3 times each trip. Kudos from Illinois!
Started with a chocolate martini and it was delicious! We have the scallops for an appetizer and I had the artichoke/cheese soup that was amazing. For dinner, crab imperial and the hubby had stuffed shrimp. Everything was fabulous! No room for dessert but they looked so good I was wishing I wasn’t so full. By the way, the dill salad dressing is the best. Book a table now
We went to Cool Springs to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. The seafood is fresh and everything from the appetizers to dessert was fantastic. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. This was our first visit but won't be our last.
First time here and it was excellent. Drinks were delicious, seafood was fresh and so yummy. Scallops and salmon were both outstanding. Dessert was great and the waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back again.
I thought the food and especially the service was excellent ! Sat at the bar started with Oysters sashimi and entree seared tuna , my server the coaxed me into lemon cheesecake which was awesome. Dovers hidden treasure !
Great food and service! Best place in town. The Pan Roast is my favorite meal along with their special pineapple martini. You must try it. Excellent food for your taste buds. Book a table now
