On my first visit to this restaurant (before Covid), I found it to be a nice place with a long history in business. The serving sizes were good, and I especially enjoyed the triple berry french toast. The Irish skillet was also tasty, with lots of melted mozzarella cheese on top of corned beef hash and hash browns. The pancakes were just okay. On my second visit (after Covid, 2 years later), I was pleased to find that the french toast was still excellent, now served with generous strawberries and whipped cream for just $1.99 extra. Copper Top has always been an excellent neighborhood restaurant. Friendly owners and always great service. Lots of variety on the menu at a fair price with usually a fresh fruit, or soup or salad, potato choice and dessert included with the entrée. Perhaps the previous reviewer hit it on a day they had a bad cook, but that can happen anywhere. Overall I have never been disappointed here. If you are looking for a high end steak place this is not your restaurant, but they have excellent fish fries and great breakfast and lunch fare.
Casual diner style restaurant that looks like it was frozen in time in the early 1990s. It was pretty busy when we visited, but they still got us seated and taken care of pretty quickly. The food was good and my whole group left fat and happy. I will certainly return.
I remember going here as a kid like 20+ years ago. I don't remember it then, but everything was excellent today. Food was made well, tasted great, service was perfect as well. Nothing negative to say at all.

I had never been to this restaurant before, but I was pleasantly surprised by its style and service. The food was incredible and very satisfying. I would definitely return if I am in town again.
