The customer service was very good. The establishment itself is clean and welcoming. However, the food was subpar. The “large” male crabs were more like medium females. The steamed shrimp tasted very rubbery as if it was cooked too long, and on top of that, it wasn’t seasoned enough. They also do not clean their shrimp. I have a habit of splitting my shrimp down the back to see if it’s been cleaned, they were all full of shrimp poo. 3 stars is generous, I didn’t want to go lower because the staff is nice and does their job properly, at least at the from desk from what I could see. I just got the xlarge females for $109 a dozen. I highly disappointed. They are absolutely hollow and most of my claws a gone. They were mediums at best. I would be embarrassed to sell these to customers. I thought it was a cruel joke..but I'm not amused. You are better off going to Nicks farm and crab on SW Blvd. Or Conrad's Parkville. You will never be disappointed again.
The best spot in town for hot, fresh crabs! They offer enormous, freshly caught soft shell crabs that they cultivate themselves in sloughing boxes. I wouldn’t choose any other place for my crab cravings, and I’m quite particular! They've been our go-to supplier for company crab feasts for years and their spice blend is unbeatable! The staff is fantastic to work with too!
This was an absolute delight today. The place was clean,with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We had lottery games and keno to entertain while waiting on this freshly steamed order. Menu was clear with the updated specials and pricing, all neatly laid out. Crabs, with a Snowball stand next door, what more could you ask for on a warm Maryland summer day!

I was very disappointed with the steam crabs I bought yesterday. I ordered a dozen female regular crabs but didn’t receive the full amount. I buy crabs at least once a week from various places and have heard great things about this spot. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with either the flavor or the size of the crabs.
I will not review the food because of the nasty attitude from the child working behind the counter. At a $100 for a dozen of crabs and a ride all the way from Philly the last thing anyone wants is a nasty attitude. Thank goodness. We got the total opposite from. Hard Shell crab and Seafood. 15 min away.
The crabs and shrimp are great. The service is slow because they are very busy. They are courteous and friendly. It's stinky in there like people dealing with seafood. So if you don't like smelly smells, you can wait in the parking lot. I suggest you call in order ahead of time and pay over the phone.
This is a standard maryland crab shack with more. The crabs were ready when expected and were big and meaty. One and half dozen and all were great. Not a mealy one in the bunch! Shrimp were steamed well. Having a baltimore snowball stand next door just is icing on the cake.Great crabs!

I ordered large male and female crabs, getting them steamed and lightly seasoned. Unfortunately, the crabs were small, lacked meat, and were served cold, despite me only going around the corner to pick them up. I was quite disappointed.
Got a dozen XL males and a couple pounds of shrimp. Everything was delicious! I'm not sure what these recent 1-star reviews are about, maybe bad luck? Our crabs were heavy and cooked perfectly.
