After enjoying this restaurant several times this year, I felt compelled to write a review to share my positive experience. On a busy summer day in Perranuthnoe, my friend and I decided to have lunch here instead. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of the season. The weather was beautiful, with few noisy tourists around. We followed the chef's recommendation and ordered the mussels and monkfish scampi, which were both amazing. The mussels were plump and flavorful, while the fish was delicious. The prices were very reasonable, especially for peak season, and we left feeling very satisfied. What a brilliant experience. Staff were lovely and polite, gave us time to choose from the array of drinks and the huge range of food to choose from. I had the Ribs and partner had the chicken, they did not disappoint. In my personal opinion the ribs are probably some of the best ribs I have ever eaten, and we are well traveled. Go in, experience BBQ food at its peak, for a fair price. Chef Mikes seasonings are sensational keep doing what your doing Would definitely visit again, quite unique place in Cornwall Can’t wait to go again next Sunday.
I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and was very impressed. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I also had dinner at the restaurant one evening and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty and well-presented meal. The breakfast was also delicious and freshly cooked. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
We came to the crown Inn for the last night of our holiday, wow what a place! Wish we had found it at the beginning of our holiday! The food was absolutely amazing so delicious full of flavour and great sized portions, all with great reasonable prices. The staff were very cheerful, helpful, friendly and made our evening pleasurable. We will definitely return the next time we down this way on holiday.

Popped in here for a late dinner whilst in the area and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is like a typical British pub but the taste of the food and presentation of it was amazing and not what you would usually expect from a ‘pub’. I had the chilli con carne. Just got back from our second meal at this lovely local pub . Even though it is obviously a pub used by locals , we were welcomed and did not feel out of place . The pub has a lovely friendly vibe and the food is so so good , highly recommend the burger !!!
The new chef is providing excellent food. A wide variety of dishes, freshly made from local ingredients. An absolutely delicious menu. I highly recommend trying this out.
