Takeaway lunch from here was a pleasant experience. The welcome and customer service was outstanding in my short time in their establishment. We ordered Special Fried Rice, King Prawns, Satay Beef and Chicken Chow Mein. Each of the dished were great and made as we requested. I would rate the general quality and taste of the dishes about 8 out of 10. The only reasons it was not a 10 was that we asked for extra thick Satay sauce and it was a bit thin and slightly down on flavour. We celebrated Chinese New Year at Crystal Palace Restaurant in Joondalup. There's an authentic Chinese look to the venue which drew us in. The dining room decor is unpretentious with typical Chinese style. Our waitstaff was friendly, polite and helpful. We ordered entrees of Spring Rolls, Sang Choy Bow, Garlic King Prawns, Prawn Toast and Prawn Crackers. For the main meal we chose Honey Chicken, BBQ Pork with sprouts, Special Fried Rice, Salt and Pepper Squid, Prawn Chow Mein, Sizzling Beef with Black Bean sauce, Duck with Plum sauce. Cheap cheerful and tasty!. I've now been to Crystal Palace a half a dozen times. This time with my Daughter and her family. The service is prompt but not pushy, the restaurant is clean, but rather bright. We shared a Honey Chicken which was a bit dry overcooked I'd say, a tasty Sizzling Beef in Black bean sauce, a delicious Szechuan Chicken which has become my favourite, and the obligatory special Fried Rice which was fine. Overall a pleasant inexpensive meal $86.00 for 7 (including 3 grandchildren). We'll be going back!
Have been visiting here for quite some time, as it accomodates big groups/family get togethers etc. Mostly often full of aussies and the menu is catered to suit.<br/ <br/ Banquet meals are good option for big crowds. The meals are standard westernised asian. Ie meat and veges with noodles/rice.<br/ <br/ Staff are friendly and accomodating.<br/ Love the carrot carvings as decorations.

Good Food. I went there on Saturday with my husband and 2 kids. We were met with friendly smiles and prompt service. It was a bit busy but our dishes came out in a reasonable timeframe and we could tell that the ingredients used were fresh. The sweet and sour pork was a winner for my kids and my husband loved the honey chicken. Very satisfied.
Possibly the best Chinese in the area. No complaints on the food ever, staff are friendly but also not pestering you every few minutes. BYO is a bonus.<br/ <br/ Decor could do with spruce I do agree, but the food is why we come.
