only a short walk from the city center is this italian a hidden gem. they ignore the slightly detested artwork on the walls. there may be some of the glamour of facilities like san carlo missing, but eating is easy to the same standard. it's rare to find a place that muddles to perfection, a good crab pasta and a decent espresso, but that's one. portions are generous (smoking, even) and service is friendly and attentive to detail. highly recommended.
The gnocchi starter was delicious and so cheesy. As a main I ordered the Chicken and Gambetta pizza which was refreshing and so flavourful ! We also ordered some garlic cheese bread to share ont he table. It was cooked to perfection and again so cheesy! The service was nice and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was my first time at this place and I will definitely come back.
a large Italian with a deceptive front that opens up in a large, long restaurant at the back. tasteful decoration, decent amount of tables and always busy. so book. good food and ok service. can easily be forgiven two weeks before Christmas they were a bit slow in service. Otherwise it can't complain. good food.
beautiful atmosphere, such a large restaurant with many tables for two. the service was attentive and friendly. the free bread and the olives were delicious. all three courses were amazing, stood out was the main thing of wild boar fagotini the calf. the deserts were perfectly presented, will definitely return. a large autumn choice is the tagliatelle di castagne con anatra, a delicate and yet fillable plate of pasta benches with a decon and chestnut sauce, rich with the taste of truffle oil. and for carnivores with a taste for game, the fagottini ripieni di cinghiale offers the opportunity to taste wild pork.
Came here for a meal for two on a weekday lunchtime. Food was absolutely amazing. Good portions and tasted great. Service was great too, with food coming out quickly and servers were polite and attentive. Was my first time here but would definitely recommend and will be going again!
I'm here for the second time. I had recommended lammage for net and garnish beginning, calamari. tiramisu for dessert, rosen wine. was perfect. side of the sweet for lamb very fill. thanks. pictures attached. (here the link button for support)
