Cups and cakes is a small shop that offers baked goods and juices. The customer service was courteous and offered assistance immediately upon arrival. I took home a chewy chocolate chip cookie and prepackaged protein bar and energy bar. The cookie was just okay I absolutely LOVE chewy cookies and only about a 1.5 diameter of it was chewy and it was quite crumbly. It did have a nice melted butter and sugar taste too it though. My very picky 9 year old friend devoured the chocolate protein bar, which I assume means it was yummy snack, and kept him full for three hours. I have yet to try the energy bar, but look forward to it being my road snack as I drive home.
I often visit Cups and Cakes for their renowned scones—my favorite is the cranberries and orange—along with their baby cakes and the delectable devil dog for my husband. When it was time to select a bakery for my daughter's shower, I didn’t think twice. Denise and her team, always in tune with the latest trends (which I am not), created a stunning cake and surprised me with the most adorable cookies for placement. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with everything, and I can't thank Cups and Cakes enough for making her day truly special. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Denise and her staff make the best, high quality goodies you can find in Monmouth County. Custom made cakes and SO many cupcakes, cookies to choose from, all made daily. Over the years, they've added savory items like quiche, or my favorite, their soups especially the Italian Wedding Soup!! They also have a coffee/tea bar as well as a juice bar. In a tiny space, they pack a lot of good in! Don't miss this place! (Closed on Mondays).

I stopped by here at the last minute to get some treats for Mother's Day, and both my grandmother and mother were really happy with their choices, despite being quite selective eaters. My grandmother called the red velvet cupcake a perfect balance of flavors, while my mother couldn't resist her chocolate cupcake and chocolate-covered strawberry, even though she had planned to save them for later.
I ordered a tuna salad wrap, and when I opened it, I was shocked to find there was hardly any tuna—definitely not even a quarter of a cup. It was absurd. There were maybe two tablespoons of tuna salad, if that. This is completely unacceptable. I wish I could share a photo to illustrate.
The Recovery smoothie is absolutely fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I've been ordering from here for years, and they always prepare my order perfectly, with a smile.
