Just add my high brands for a wonderful dinner. Mostly my fillet mignon was cooked according to my specifications “rare plus” as our waiter Francisco called it) perfect. I also have the Al Gratin potatoes because they are known for them. I was slightly surprised, there were only three asparagus and on red pepper on the plate as vegetables, but it came with a wonderful dinner salad with a beautiful house dressing. This restaurant is located in Carson Valley Casino. It has a very traditional feeling and the weight staff was excellent. It is a popular place, so book! I felt my steak was very close to everyone I had, and I was with Ruth Chris. If that gives me any credibility to say that.
We always make it a point to visit CV steakhouse every time we come to Nevada. There are several reasons we continue to come back to see the steak and that is because of the great team of employees, the atmosphere and the incredible food. However this visit part my wife's food was overcooked and the au gratin potatoes were undercooked. Our power server was very pleasant and friendly as well as attentive as well as the server's assistant Jace. This time we cannot give CV steak five stars.
This can be the best steakhouse in Minden. You have to go to Tahoe to meet their quality. Good wine, good food, good menu, good service. It's a quality experience. Only trouble is that you go through a casino to get it. These days, casinos are not as funny and welcoming as they used to.
