Loved this restaurant, now I dont normally eat pizza but I saw somebody else's and decided to take the plunge. I wasn't disappointed, the base was thin and crispy with lots of lovely topping. My wife had the Cannelloni which she also loved all washed...down with a copious amount of good German beer, all for which I think is very reasonable given where you are...cheers guys. Hope to see you again one day.
An Italian for tourists. The proximity to the Rhine is definitely a plus point and the food is fine. In the past, there were pizza rolls before the main course. Otherwise, the quality has dropped. For a pizza right on the Rhine in the beautiful weather on the terrace it is still recommended. For a coffee or an apple choir as a cycling break, too. In addition, I would search for something else.
It is quite astonishing how a restaurant located at such a beautiful place can be so disappointing. The vegetable used for various meals are frozen instead of fresh, you can taste how the food is prepared: without any love for food or serving people. And...if you sitting at the wrong place you'll be served by a waiter who is insulting you.
As a change from the buffet available in our hotel we strolled about looking for restaurants we agreed on. Many were shut on the first Monday in September, so we ended up here for pasta and pizza dishes. Enjoyed to much we returned on Wednesday....Good atmosphere and service. Great tasting food.
