We came here for breakfast on the first morning of our stay in Hobart and enjoyed it so much went back twice more. Each day it was buzzing but we were always lucky enough to get a table. We really appreciated that they bake on the premises so everything we sampled was fresh, as well as delicious; we equally enjoyed the savoury and sweet baked goods. Just to be clear, this isn't the place to go if you are on a diet or if you're after a quiet, contemplative space. But for a super tasty pastry, this place would be hard to beat. And if you enjoy a bit of eavesdropping, all the better! Finally, this bakery is very well located, close to Salamanca Place and the wharves.
Visited this place today as we are on holidays in Hobart and had been told about it. Very busy and some great looking items. Was asked if my order was eat in or takeaway and I said takeaway, my order was taken and paid for and then I was given a table number. I reminded the attendant that it was a takeaway order and she was rather frazzled. Got our order and we walked away although the bad thing is takeaway items are cheaper than done in items (for the same item) so I essentially paid more for the same thing I got and wasn't offered a reimbursement. Apart from that the food was quite nice, the service could have been friendlier and more accomodating though.
My husband and I were strolling around Hobart heading to the harbour and we spotted this lovely cafe. The cakes on display in the window invited us in. There was a vast range of amazing cakes and sweets plus a variety of salads and toasted sandwiches and pasties and meals. Not to mention coffees and drinks. The most difficult thing was choosing which sweet to indulge! Tarts, strudel and amazing flavoured huge meringues. I highly recommend a visit to this great discovery near the Parliament. Enjoy.
Relaxation after the Hype Hype This restaurant has this restaurant. Has the croissant strongly recommended, but my came slightly, cold, cold and muddy. I understand that most of her food is prepared to be presented that, however, it can ran out our food at least quickly before serving. It's a shame as it tasted as well, but there was no effort to serve the food.

Are here on a Saturday morning. Really busy but managed to secure a table without waiting. They do fantastic cakes and pastries but decided to have a proper breakfast and had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - delicious! Service was friendly and efficient and coffee very good.
Large selection of cakes and pastries. It's kind of like the Hobart version of Brunetti. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Really enjoyed the blueberry Danish pastry. Be warned that you may not have everything available if you come to a later hour.
Had the smoked salmon cake. It's fine first, but then overwhelmed salty and only saved from the relish, who came with him. The food is not fresh either. It comes from the display racks and heats up when ordering.
For breakfast trying to beat the locals who keep this place busy in any case. Sensational coffee. Grief
Probably no sausage rollers should eat for breakfast, but they are delicious.

Very busy at 9:45 am on a Friday morning. Slow service. Two of the chefs with a food break out during the highest hour. Great pastries and coffee! Recommend to avoid the top hour.
We always get birthday cakes from Daci & Daci because they are amazing! Good service too with really warm and friendly staff. Would always love to come back!
