I would give this place 3.5 stars for taste and 4 stars for options and price. We ordered the Veg-Ramen, the Kimchee udon, and a side of Croquettes (made with fried sweet potatoes and panko). The ramen was simple and needed more taste, so I made my own chili pepper, soy sauce and garlic available at the table. The kimchee udon was very chic. I had vegan better ramen in my life, but I'm sure I'm happy. When I asked the server for their vegan options, it brought a selected menu with enough options to visit several times without ordering the same twice. Update: went back and ordered Mapo tofu fried noodles. It didn't look appetizing like a blob. Wouldn't recommend. But I also ordered the Kimche...

The noodles weren't Japanese-style; they weren't bad, but they weren't what I would typically choose. The broth was flavorful, and the eggs had a distinctly Chinese touch—hard-boiled with a hint of century egg flavor. The char siu was fantastic—though not Japanese-style as it used pork shoulder instead of pork belly and included a hint of star anise, it clearly had Chinese influences. It was definitely my favorite part of the meal! In summary, this restaurant offers a Japanese-style dining experience with a Chinese twist, which might be just what you’re looking for. Personally, I would have preferred better quality toppings and a different noodle texture. No complaints overall, just not qui...
I would rate this restaurant 3.5 stars for taste and 4 stars for variety and pricing. We tried the vegetarian ramen, the kimchi udon, and a side of sweet potato and panko croquettes. The ramen was plain and needed extra flavor, so I added my own chili pepper, soy sauce, and garlic from the table. The kimchi udon was much tastier. While I've had better vegan ramen before, I left feeling satisfied. When I inquired about vegan options, the server provided a menu with many choices to try on future visits. On a return visit, I ordered the mapo tofu fried noodles, which looked unappetizing but tasted good. I would not recommend it, but the kimchi ramen was excellent as always.
Food was very good. You have to get over the fact it is in a strip mall. Seated quickly and food came quickly. Although, speedy service was appreciated in the beginning, it became very obvious during our first few bites that we were being rushed. My wife got ramen and it was steaming hot so we needed a few minutes to cool down to be edible. By the time she started her few bites they had brought the check over. Again, foolishly assuming they simply had great service, they checked on the bill two more times. Feeling very rushed was made me think they deserved a grade or two lower. Book a table now
Daiichi ramen is my go-to spot for a quick and delicious bite to eat. It's one of the quickest and most reliable for getting on Uber eats, doordash, direct to-go, or eating in the restaurant even! They have a great deal on a 2 side combo that comes with soup and 2 other items, my favorites are the curry ramen with a side of gyoza and fried rice. My other half loves the miso udon with mochiko chicken and katsu or curry.
Ordered vegetable fried rice. They gave me a box of plain fried rice, with giant chunks of sautéed romaine lettuce. Only vegetable in there ? 15$.ive had the ramen before. I guess it wasn't bad? Don't really remember it.
The soup was flavorless and we were disappointed to find a chunk of meat in our supposedly vegetarian broth. We do not recommend this restaurant for fellow vegans.
Took a break from the food at the resorts and so happy to have had found this place.Dont be detered by the well done egg, the soup slaps. Book a table now

We discovered pieces of meat in our supposed vegetarian soup broth. As vegans, we were disappointed and do not plan on returning.
