I don't like being necessarily negative, as it doesn't help anyone who is looking for honest feedback for a place they may want to try. Having said that, I find it almost a requirement to warn you before going here as it is a terrible experience all the way through as you get what you pay for. Atmosphere:This is a hole in the wall place that reminds of you visiting your friend as a kid who had parents with bad taste in decor. It was very plain, dull, and terrible. Doesn't make you feel safe for what you're going to eat. The one waitress sits there on her phone texting and watching videos, the guy who prepares the food isn't in any chefs gear, doesn't wear gloves, and is in jeans and a t-shir...
A favourite lunch place of mine for their all-you-can-eat menu. The difference between lunch and dinner menus is dinner has a handful of other costlier items like seaweed salad, sashimi etc. The majority of the menu is the same. Favorite dishes are edamame, tempura, kalbi, rolls like green dragon, spicy salmon, black dragon. I think their rolls have actually gotten better over time. Sushi rice is one of the best I've had and not at all pasty (yuck!). Each roll is unique tasting. The sashimi is okay when thinly sliced on top of rolls. However on their own I would just recommend the salmon. Soup noodles are pretty good but recommend you ask them to hold the onions if you are not an onion lover...
This is a small sushi place which is convenient for us as it's close to home. not the best sushi place we tried, but is good enough to make us return customers.I agree the service may be slow as there's only one waiter (or waitress) servicing the whole place (I think it can accommodate about 40 clients at once, it's not a big place as I said). To get around that inconvenience, try to arrive early :) before it gets crowded.We like the food quality there, our favourites are the dragon rolls.The atmosphere isn't too great, but for such small place it's acceptable.In summary, I recommend this place to anyone who isn't too picky about everything.
I've been here a number of times for AYCE, and taken out twice. The place went under renovation fairly recently, and it's a big improvement to 1980s Asian restaurant look it was stuck on before. They didn't put a lot of money in their renovation, but it's nice enough now. The take out is really expensive for what you get. The person at the cash was clueless as well. Food is great, but the value wasn't there for taking out. I'll eat there next time. They give you a 10% discount for paying cash, or you can get edamame or spring rolls with your take out meal.

I went to eat the omakase and I am so disappointed especially at this price (mid level prices.) the Omakase box was badly packed and sushi rice fell apart as soon as they pick it up. the sushi was also warm when it arrived, it is a perfect habitat for bacterial growth.
Quality and price pretty good for a local sushi bar. Ordered takeout a couple times during to Covid and must say food is good and decently priced. We live close by so we often come here for sushi!
Really fresh sushi and good service. Small place to eat but primarily focus is on takeout.At dinner time can get quite busy, so try to order ahead of time if possible. Definitely worth the wait!
I got the spicy crab roll and seaweed saladI thought that everything was decent for the price but some of the rolls fell apart easily.
