There were only two staff members working during Saturday dinner, and although they tried their best, it took more than 30 minutes to receive the vegetarian plate, which included only two hot items. I assume the salads were pre-made and simply scooped into the container. Additionally, the portion sizes seem to have decreased, and when I got home, I noticed my Greek salad had no feta cheese. Another woman nearby was also waiting nearly as long, despite only ordering some dip.
The food arrived very cold. I was given dirty napkins, although the food itself wasn’t leaking—just the napkins were soiled. I regret not taking a photo of the poorly wrapped, cold sandwich that had only three small pieces of tomato and brown lettuce. I can only imagine how unpleasant it must have tasted because I was so put off by the presentation. It felt like they didn’t want my business.
They were out of rice, and the food didn't taste authentically Greek to me. However, I've never actually been to Greece, so I'm not an expert. It felt overly commercial and reminiscent of fast food. I also found it to be quite overpriced for what it offered.
The staff member seemed to be having a tough day. He got our order mixed up and didn’t finish it. His attitude was rude and unwelcoming. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a Daphne's, and I definitely won't be going back to this restaurant. Book a table now
The food was not outstanding; I've had much better meals at other places. On the positive side, the service was quite good. Unfortunately, the dishes were somewhat tasteless, and the Tzatziki sauce was lacking in flavor. I probably won't be returning.
The atmosphere was lacking. The food didn't quite taste Greek, but since I've never been to Greece, I can't say for certain. It felt like a venue aimed at quick, commercial dining. Overall, it was overpriced for a fast food establishment.
The food wasn't great; I've definitely had better elsewhere. The service was good, but nothing exceptional. The dishes were quite bland, and the tzatziki sauce lacked flavor. I don't think I'll be coming back.
The chicken plate at Daphne's was $25. The chicken was dry, the vegetables tasted like they came from a hospital cafeteria, and the rice was just average. Book a table now
