We have been a few times to DennistounBBQ dining in and taking away. Dining in we have had fairly good experiences over the years, but unfortunately not so great taking away. Firstly, the Chicken burgers delicious, the hamburger/kinney burger not quite so good, quite overdone. We had ordered in advance and walked down, to be told it would be another 15 minutes (10 mins after our allotted time) which is no big deal really, however it ended up being about 20 mins late. The place was very busy and overly packed when we we got there. I had ordered a full rack of ribs, 3 chicken wings and some plain fries. It was bad enough they completely got my order wrong. I did a take away and I when I got home I realized my order is messed up. They gave me half a rack of ribs instead of a full rack of ribs, 3 chicken wings I had ordered them barbeque the wings were super dry they looked like they were not even fried properly and had no sauce or anything on them whatsoever. Had been looking for a good place for ribs and a burger to take my young son to and found this gem. Was not disappointed only went for ribs and ended up with burger and fries as well as they looked so good. Was quiet so got a table no problem and food came quick. The burger and ribs where amazing, probably best I have had in a long time. This is my new place to go to for burger night. Guy where so friendly and chatty. My son had chips and a couple of ribs left and wanted a doggy bag but they had put in bin by mistake. They made him new chips and gave him a half rack of ribs to go for free. Cant recommend highly enough. If in town and want a burger this is the place to go.
Nice big burgers but they ran out of brisket on a busy Saturday afternoon, the main reason we went. We did get one brisket roll which was tender and delicious. We still enjoyed the other burgers but the garlic chips are a bit overpowering. It's not the warmest, biggest or fastest restaunt but its comfortable and staff are friendly. If you have a big appetite for burgers, it's definitely worth a try.

Well what can I say about this place, it really did live up to my expectations. We all ordered the Colombia burger (3) and to say it’s the best burger I’ve ever had is the truth . Also ordered up garlic fries and standard fries with a couple of dips. This is my first visit and definitely not my last . It’s a five star from myself
Heard about here through the Facebook group “Glasgow’s Good Food Group”. Another good steer. Amazing Barbecue. I had the carnival burger with Garlic fries. Beautiful. My wife had brisket, pulled pork, slaw and potato salad. OMG. everything was sooo good. Cannot wait to return
We used to go here all the time, but it’s went really downhill. Got bbq ribs that were definitely not bbq. The dry rub was so thick all you could taste was the five spice. Bbq wings were again awful. Bbq sauce was excessive amount. Would not recommend to anyone.
Really tasty burgers although chips were slightly undercooked. Service was unfriendly though. There 's a sign that on the wall that says 'smile as you are on canera ' which made me laugh as not one member of staff smiled or even made eye contact!

Visited on a busy Friday night. Really good no-nonsense burger/bbq joint. Great atmosphere. Well priced, good portions. If you are in Dennistoun, check this place out. Don't bother going to a chain joint. This place hits the spot.
Flat mate said his veggie burger was the best one he had in his entire life. My pork brisket could have included chips for the price. While it was okay, meat was a tiny bit dry
