Our neighbor Henry recommended ECB, and we had an incredible authentic burger experience there yesterday. The burger was expertly seared on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the chips were perfectly cooked. Combined with the friendly service and beautiful views of the sandy Scottish coast, this burger joint might just be one of the best outside of New York.
Food was okay, but we waited more than 30 min for a burger&fries to take away. When we realized the fries came without any sauce and asked for mayo/ketchup they told us we had to qeue again which would've taken at least another 10 min and our fries would have been cold by then. I had a disappointing experience with the meal. The burger was overcooked and burnt, and the chicken strips were nothing special—definitely not worth the £27 price tag. I would recommend going to Roo's Leap for a better dining experience.
