I reserved a room at this hotel because of the private access to Lake Tahoe. My family and I wanted to have the full experience, so we didn't mind the cost. When we arrived, we used valet parking, but none of the attendants moved to help us. I found it strange that staff would help other guests with their luggage and cars, but didn't assist us. Eventually, a kind valet parking employee helped us. The rooms were pleasant and the pool overlooking the lake was beautiful. However, we noticed some differences in treatment based on skin color. I just want to say that this property had the best customer service stay I’ve ever experienced in my life. Gregg was the best manager, and went above and beyond to accommodate our reservation snafoo. If you can, please make time to stay here. Between their amazing shuttle service, to their grade A restaurants, you won’t have to realize that they have the best view in South Lake Tahoe. that is a first-class hotel. everything is impeccable. At check-in we received a glass of complementary Italian Prosecco wine. we booked a premium king room and it was much more spacious than we expected. the breakfast and dinner in the bistro was wonderful. no need to mention the Georgian vision. highly recommended for a visit, even for a meal or coffee.
An absolutely haven in Tahoe. Lovely service, unpretentious but elevated experience, and incredibly well designed rooms and amenities. Takes care of all your needs whether it's for skiing in the winter or hiking in the fall.It's my go-to place each time I go up to tahoe with family and boyfriend, whether its for a stay or just to the restaurants.

the restaurant edgewood is an incredible experience. every place in the house has a spectacular view of the lake and sunset over the mountains. every dish was delicious, and I recommend a cocktail.
