El Fortin - Table reservation

We asked to speak to a manager, but there was no one available to assist us. It's a shame because we used to be regular customers and had always received kind service from the staff in the outdoor area. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we will not be returning. To elaborate, these two employees were disrespectful when I went to settle my bill. They charged me an incorrect amount and then proceeded to make fun of us. The servers are friendly and bring the food out quickly. The food is amazing! I had the Tlayuda special, and it was huge. If I hadn't eaten so much, it could have easily fed two people, and the price was fantastic, especially with an added chile relleno. Overall, it's definitely a place worth trying. I enjoyed the Tlayuda special; it was delicious and large. If you’re not a big eater, two people could easily share it. The price was great with the added chile relleno.

I ordered an asada burrito, and to my disappointment, it contained very little meat—mostly rice and beans instead. For a $15 burrito, I expected much better. This was a disappointing first experience.

The food is excellent, but unfortunately, the customer service doesn’t match up. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, although the quality of the meals definitely deserves high praise.

Wow, I'm Salvadoran and I tried the clayudas, and they are absolutely delicious! The burritos were fantastic, and the tacos—well, they were amazing too. Everything I had was just delicious!
