I come here all the time despite many messed up orders and the stinginess with the salsa. Today I came here for a quick meal before I have to go into work only to see that the drive thru was closed. Totally fine! I parked my car to go inside only to be met with a locked door and an employee blankly staring at me. A lady standing outside told me they refused to communicate with her and shook their finger ?NO? at her when she gestured if she could come inside. Why not put up a sign outside saying you?re closed for the day?!!! Super unprofessional!
We are frequent visitors to this El Pollo Loco, but it feels like they forget something every other time. Sometimes it’s the tortillas, other times the salad dressing, and recently a burrito was missing. Fortunately, I noticed before leaving the parking lot. The food quality is good and the staff are friendly, but they definitely need to improve accuracy with orders.
The perfect spot for a birthday dinner after bowling at Bowleros! We used a family deal from the app and ordered two large family dinners, which worked out wonderfully; we ended up paying only half of what a bowling birthday package would have cost. The food was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and attentive, especially Evelyn.

Today, we spent just $6 instead of more than $35. The app mentioned that we had to order by phone to get the discount, but the staff didn’t assist us in selecting the correct items. Also, the app’s deals aren’t the same as the in-store offers. I’m curious why that is.
The chicken pieces are large and juicy, and they have an amazing flavor. The side dishes were spot on, and the drinks were perfectly mixed! The friendly service definitely earns this place a spot in my top 10 favorite fast food restaurants!
The chicken has a unique flavor that enhances the taste of the tostada. The slices of avocado and the fresh vegetables are a great deal for the money spent. The street taco also had an enhanced flavor from the chicken?????!
The bathroom at El Pollo Loco was absolutely filthy, with paper scattered on the floor and two soap dispensers completely empty. This was disappointing, especially when the rest of the menu looked promising.
