Their ice creams were my favorites growing up, and they're actually healthy too! Made from fresh fruits, they're mostly water-based or made with whole milk instead of the heavy cream typically found in American desserts. I absolutely love their lemon, mango, vanilla, guava, and tamarind flavors—they're to die for! I also suggest trying their homemade chips with lemon and hot sauce; they're delicious. There are plenty of other treats and goodies to explore as well. I've enjoyed wonderful times with my family here, from childhood to now, and the quality remains just as great as ever. TIP: debit card use has a $0.50 charge and credit card use has a $1.00. CASH is best. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a plaza. Craving chamangoes or cold treats? This is your place! We came here during lunch and there were quite a few people lined up for these treats. We got the chamango in mango flavor which was prepared quick. The drink itself is delicious! The combination of sweetness and spice with a hint of lime are just such a good blend. The best part is that it comes with small pieces of mangoes! Absolutely delicious!
This is a fantastic place! We held a high school fundraising event here, and the team is incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Occasionally, I feel a bit uncomfortable as an Asian when I notice some different looks, even though the community is generally very accepting and kind. It’s not often that you find a place where Asian and Hispanic cultures blend so well together, which makes it truly special.
The food was satisfactory, while the service was quite good. The ambiance was also decent. Overall, I would rate this place 3 out of 5 stars. However, considering the local context, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Book a table now
A hidden gem in El Monte! It can get busy at times, but the service is always quick and friendly. Plus, their prices are fantastic. Everyone should give it a try!
