I am a lover of coffee and I do love the espresso drinks at Gaylord's cafe. Just as much, I love sitting there reading, people watching, studying, meeting friends or listening to music. Been coming here for years, and as I've grown up, I've watched others grow up too. Some are old friends, others are strangers who I've seen change over the years, but do not know their names. I was hesitant to try this place at first because I thought it might be too trendy for me based on its exterior. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is one of the few coffee spots that stay open late until 8-9PM. This alone deserves a 5-star rating and drew me in. The menu offers a wide variety of tea and espresso drinks. I ordered the Milky Way and, although it took a bit longer than expected, I was not disappointed. This restaurant is a lovely spot to grab a quick coffee and pastry. I appreciated the abundance of small tables available. Despite arriving later at 6 o'clock, the place was busy but my friend and I managed to find a table. They provide Wi-Fi and the coffee and food were tasty and reasonably priced. Another highlight was their late hours, staying open until midnight. This is a rare find as many other coffee shops close by 7pm at the latest. This place definitely deserves its 5 stars. It's a great spot to visit, just keep in mind that parking may be limited.
This coffee shop is adorable and perfect for a relaxed outing. They offer a variety of pastries and the espresso is delicious. I tried the cappuccino with cinnamon and nutmeg, which was warm and frothy. My friend opted for the Mexican mocha, which had a delightful mix of chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of cayenne pepper for some kick. We sat by the window, enjoying people-watching as we caught up with each other. Overall, a great experience.

It took a surprisingly long time to prepare our order, despite no other customers waiting. The half and half was sour, but I still drank it. I would have liked to try a latte, but at $7-$8 per cup, it was just too expensive. You don't even pay those prices in LA.

a sweet casual coffee shop. they have a series of baked, the espresso is really delicious. I had a cappuccino with cinnamon and muskatnuss. it can be warm and frothy. my friend ordered the Mexican mocha. it has chocolate, zimt, muskatnuss and cayenne pfeffer for a little seasoned! so delicious. we sat at the window and enjoyed people watching while getting friends.
Always glad to stop in at Gaylord's. Friendly longtime faces behind the counter, great menu items and coffee, excellent art on the walls by local artists, currently 2 teachers from Bishop O'Dowd HS. It is a gem of our city, a beloved relic. The sunny corner bench allows for street views and conversation. The outside tables are good for sunny days and/or smokers.

The coffee was really good. Love the idea of using coffee ice cubes. The black bean veggie burger was surprisingly good! My only complaint was that it was a bit dirty. Could've used a good sweep and wipe down. Great service, coffee, and food though.
