George's Food Bar - Table reservation

I love George's. The burgers are awesome. Juicy, soft, greasy and hot off the grill. Everything a burger should be. I don't understand people who come here and complain about the grease. This is a legit burger joint, they are fried in grease, along with the buns and onions. That's what a real burger is. Drippy. If you don't like that, go to a sit down restaurant that serves food that isn't cooked on a flat top or in a deep fryer. There's tons of highbrow burger places in Courtenay, try Mad Chef or Union Street Grill, they are also amazing, just a completely different type of burger. Georges has served the valley for several decades. They provide decent burgers and the like. The really iconic thing is the experience. You call your order in at the window and nothing is written down and you don't even get a nod. several minutes later, your order is there and exactly what you asked for. it's good solid reliable' food but nothing 'outside the box'...

We have had food from here for many many years, I don't think one can get better tasting Chinese food anywhere. We always phone our order in and the time it will be ready is right on. For a small place this is really good food.

The best burgers and fries in the Comox Valley. It might be a small hamburger place, it offer great service and excellent burgers. If I had a choice between a George's burger or big "M", George would win hands down.

It's simple and quick place to get food. It's certainly like a food truck. It's a lot like home cooked food.
