Courtenay ‘s Pita Pit is head and shoulders above any fast food restaurant in the ComoxValley ! They offer a wide variety of healthy sandwiches and salads prepared with fresh veggies, cheeses, sauces and meats on either white or whole wheat pitas. Their current staff are extremely efficient and good at what they do. The two young ladies that “built “ my Pita were totally in sync and worked in tandem... pleasure to watch! My favourite sandwich is the Gyro....made on a whole wheat pita with grilled onions, mushrooms and green peppers plus tasty meat filled with fresh spinach, shredded lettuce,tomatoes,red onions,cucumbers, with a slathering of humus,then black olives, pineapple tidbits,feta ch...
Pita Pit was clean and offered fresh, healthy, and tasty food. Seemed a bit pricey for what what was offered. Location offers a small eating area as well if you don't want to take out.
Delicious meal and wonderful customer service!!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a healthier alternative to McDonald’s or subway!
