I went with a group of friends at Xmas. Was lively and had good music but was very loud so couldn't really talk but this didn't overly bother me as its a Christmas party. The food was ok but nothing amazing. The service was terrible as we asked for drinks which didn't come, so we asked again which I appreciate its loud and it's not the end of the world but the waiter blamed us and said we didn't ask. Then some friends left early and paid their bill. At the end of meal we worked out what we all owed and paid remaining bill plus a tip. Which the waiter said he wanted to query this and get his manager. When the manager arrived he also said we had under paid by 50 pound or so. We all got our rec...
A fantastic evening was had by all! First we sat and had a superb three course meal, then a DJ played some great music and we danced til closing time! The food was delicious, fresh, proper Greek food.. the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful could not do enough for us and brilliant with the children. They worked so hard and so efficiently. The DJ was great fun and so entertaining. He even had props!! The venue was comfortable and homely the air conditioning was a big bonus! George was an absolute gentleman very kind and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant especially for larger groups and parties. It is Wellings secret gem!!! Thanks George and staff!!!
My brother and I noticed that they had moussaka on the menu as we walked past, so we decided to try out the restaurant the following night. The menu had a nice variety, with options for non-meat eaters like myself. I had falafel for a starter and swordfish for the main course, while my brother had calamari for a starter and moussaka for the main course. We both enjoyed our meals, the waitress was wonderful, and the owner came to check on us to make sure everything was okay. Overall, we had a pleasant evening and may consider attending one of their music nights in the future.
Heard mixed reviews from friends read a few good and bad ones online, decided to try for myself for a birthday treat with family. Having eaten at George’s last restaurant I had high expectations, sadly nothing comparable at all. Decor is sparse, rustic in need of repair, especially toilets. The area out the back could do with a clean tidy, felt grubby tired. The food quality was varied, we had both meze main meals on our table and bits were good and bad. Cold

After enjoying two work Christmas parties at George's, we decided to try out their regular menu. We were impressed by the friendly and efficient service. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Gigantes for vegetarians, and my partner can attest to the deliciousness of the stifado and kofta kebabs. The halloumi was fantastic, and the generous bread basket was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience at George's.
Went here a couple of years ago, but this was our first opportunity to return. If I have one small complaint I would like the restaurant to be a little more cosy. But not sure how you can do it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food menu is very well balanced with a couple of unusual dishes. But the regular Greek dishes are there for those wanting security. Portions are really good and well cooked. Worth a visit.
I visited this restaurant with some friends for a meal, but was disappointed by the inappropriate attire of the serving staff. The man who brought our food, whom I assumed to be the owner, was wearing a shabby, oversized sweater with rolled-up sleeves, jeans, and black shoes that appeared to be covered in paint. It was very unprofessional and off-putting. I do not plan on returning.
Visited this restaurant for a birthday meal the entertainment very good. (Jersey Girls) Staff are very welcoming and helpful nothing is too much of an ask. Food is fab very authentic best Greek I've tasted in London by far.
