Spi small for accommodating a large (over 15) group even though a room was reserved. Guest where crammed around tables suited for a smaller number of guests per table; very uncomfortable. The food presentation was not appealing/appetizing when served; meat items looked overcooked. Guests in my group had mixed reviews on how well seasoned the food tasted; if food items were over/under cooked; or if food items were moist or not. I can't speak about the price because the bill was paid by others from my group. Had some high recommendations for this place from a relative who lives in Waco, so we stopped on the way through. I was very disappointed with my shrimp and grits, it was very very greasy and had mushrooms in the sauce which I didn't like. Another member of our table got a hamburger and really enjoyed it. But my wife also got the shrimp and grits and did not enjoy it even though she likes mushrooms. The ambiance is nice here, and it seems like a good place to drink a beer and have a burger. I would try it again when I go through Waco again just to give it another shot, everybody has a bad day.
Passing through Waco, George's was recommended. The food was beyond delicious, defying description! Special kudos to the chefs for the outstanding chicken fried steak, and the peach cobbler was incredible. The service was impeccable—thank you, Parker, for the excellent recommendations and service. Such a wonderful experience. I'll definitely make the three-hour trip just to eat here again.
Thursday afternoon in the summer, so not overly busy. Had a great server, she was super friendly and very efficient, willing to provide her ideas to us visiting from out of town. Food was okay. My order seemed to be room temperature while my girlfriend's was still too hot to eat, so it wasn't super consistent. Excellent price at a time when everyone is paying more for everything.

The lunch specials are excellent. We went with the chicken-fried chicken with green beans and mac and cheese, and wow, it was delicious! Great portions, great price. The people working here are excellent too. Thank you for a great first-time experience. I do recommend it and will definitely be back. Folks, if you are ever in the Waco area, make sure you all stop by George's!
Overall great experience. As a table we got the onion ring appetizer 10/10, chicken fried steak 8/10, and the Crybaby burger 9/10. The only big disappointment was the cheese grits. They tasted unseasoned and straight out of the box, nary any cheese to be found nor salt nor flavor. Otherwise, we would 100% go back.
Lively, sprawling diner sports bar with breakfast and rest-of-the-day menus. They also serve large goblet drinks. Located near I-35, it is readily accessible from downtown, the interstate, or the Baylor campus. I enjoyed their south side breakfast burrito with chorizo.
The restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel and it was very tasty and the portion sizes were large and appealing. The wings were particularly tasty and we also really enjoyed the rolls. The young waitress was very friendly.

The food came out quickly and was delicious. I had chicken fried chicken, seasoning was perfect and was very tasty. Husband had meatloaf with broccoli casserole and it also tasted delicious. Very friendly atmosphere.
