I visited this restaurant during my trip to Waco after receiving a recommendation from family who live nearby, and it’s known as a Waco classic. The atmosphere is cozy, with friendly and attentive service, and they offer an extensive menu. It was also one of the most budget-friendly places we tried during our stay, which was a nice bonus. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken, which was perfectly portioned and flavorful. The food is straightforward but well-prepared and delicious. The standout dishes for me were the sweet potato casserole and the enormous margaritas. My husband also enjoyed the wings. I would definitely come back here the next time we’re in town.

Really great atmosphere and drinks. We thought there would be a long wait because of how long the line was but it went very quickly because of how large the restaurant is and how many servers. The only reason it’s not getting a higher star rating isbecause the food was just okay. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing because I saw many people getting the wings so maybe they aremore known for that.
First and foremost, our waitress, Brittany, was absolutely incredible—truly the best we've ever had! If you can, ask for her; you won't be disappointed! Thank you, Brittany, for taking such great care of us! Now, about the food—wow, it's consistently fantastic! The atmosphere is always lively and inviting. It's definitely worth the wait! We travel two hours just to eat here!

George's Restaurant Bar is great! The food was good, the facility was clean, and the service was exceptional. I would come back again. I would come back again, but only to try the lunch/dinner. The breakfast was nothing special. The jukebox was also pretty cool, but it isn't connected to the entire restaurant. I would recommend this place to my friends.

First time eating here and I have to say that I?m going to have to return. I had the chicken fried steak, which is touted as the best in Waco for 15 consecutive years, and I was not disappointed. The steak was so tender that I cut it with a fork. Delicious!
