Last minute decision to go for tea with a couple of friends. We booked for 5.30 and ate off the Early Bird menu. Two of us had the lasagne, which I could only describe as tasteless.. a very small portion of layers of pasta swimming in the middle of some kind of watery sauce.. not recognisable as lasagne! We did complain and were told the manager would come and speak to us. Unfortunately that didn 't happen and after our complaint we felt as if we were dismissed by the staff.. who up to that time had been very friendly.. our service and attitude from staff changed. . Group of 4 dined on a Sunday evening for an anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, the steak and veal dishes weren't available due to being a chef short. Still, the Early Evening Menu offered a good variety of traditional Italian food and it was served in reasonably sized portions (not the mountains of food that can sometimes put you off! . The ice creams went down particularly well with our party. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful and happy to deal with children. Very reasonably priced for the selection offered.
Sadly a very disappointing evening. 2 ladies chose lasagne. It was floating pasta basically in a tasteless sauce. They did complain. However no management came to discuss. We still had to pay in full. Really feel that someone could have recompensed in a small way? We do appreciate they were short staffed and no chef as such? But it’s ok to come out to say that. …. No apologies from management. Expensive night out for food I could have cooked better. Always try to support locally but this was very disappointing tonight.
Last minute decision to go to Giovannis. We hadn’t been there for a couple of years. Food was outstanding. I had the Minestrone which you can’t go wrong with, but the real star was the Pollo Agro Dolce. Tremendous. The house wine was so easy drinking as well. Great family run restaurant with a cosy vibe and warm and friendly staff. Kids loved it, wife loved it we will definitely be back.

My wife and I visited this cosy Italian restaurant for dinner during a short stay in Kirkaldy. We enjoyed our meal immensely. The staff were both very friendly and attentive despite them being very busy. Prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable. When we are next in the area, we will definitely make a point of visiting again.
WELL . This is a MUST try place . The staff go above and beyond and the food is OUTSTANDING . All the food is bursting with flavour and hits the spot every time. We had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Everything from the home-made bread to the ice cream is a FABULOUS taste tingling experience. Highly RECOMMENDED.
Brilliant service in a restaurant that deserves more customers! We enjoyed a fantastic dinner following the Black Rock 5 race at Kinghorn. The waitress could not have been more friendly or helpful, and we can highly recommend the house pizza! Definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the area.
Booked for anniversary and arrived to be told about one third of menu was not available . Waited 50 minutes for order to be served which was average to say the least. Did not pay a tip and i honestly can not remember the last time this was the case . Will not be back

Manuel and the team run a great authentic Italian eatery here- something on the menu for everyone. Great selection of drinks too. Gets busy, book ahead- fixed price menu 5-7pm looked great value- but the a la carte is very reasonable.
Haven't been for years but it didn't disappoint. Food was fabulous and the staff very attentive. Nothing was a problem. Decor is bright and airy and welcoming Definitely recommend
