I ordered salt and pepper chicken, sesame prawn toast and crispy wontons, along with some satay sauce. Tonight was actually my very first time having a couple of these dishes. And I have to say I was not disappointed! Never be put off by poor reviews until you have at least tried this takeaway for yourself While the chicken itself was not the spicy part, but whatever was on the onions and peppers in the dish was, it was not a potent spice, but just right. And while the satay sauce, which i had poured over the chicken was really quite flavourful, it didn't overpower the flavours of the S/7P chicken, thankfully Staff are often very nice and welcoming.
We have had a few meals from here recently and the food has been consistently good quality. The vegetables always taste fresh. I had prawns last time that were cooked perfectly. My partner had beef that was delicious and tender. My children enjoyed the chicken balls, egg fried rice and prawn crackers. We also had salt and pepper chips which were tasty but a little too salty for me- I don't usually eat salty food so maybe that was just me! All in all, fantastic food that is a lot better than it used to be with friendly staff.
Deeply disappointing, the vegetarian tofu was rubbery and over fried, the sauce far to salty lacked vegetables. The vegetable egg fried rice seemingly had little to no egg or vegetables. The vegetable chow mien was salty, stodgy and over cooked. The spring rolls look like they we purchased at a cheap supermarket. I would give this place a zero. Absolutely disgusting. I am surprised they still operate. Stay away, greasy, salty and foul.
This is my third visit to Golden Dynasty since the ownership changed, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The food was bland, lukewarm, greasy, and of poor quality. I attempted to call to complain, but the phone line was so bad that I didn't bother trying again. I doubt it would make a difference anyway. Hopefully, the decrease in customers will prompt the owners to reevaluate their service.

New owners have taken over. We are local and get it delivered. Tried x4 now and each time is very disappointing. Why Tastless... no extra spice when specifically asked for. Today... as always asked for an extra spicy hot beef curry ... got chicken which didn't even taste like curry. Srucen up Golden dynasty. This will be my last visit.
Ordered chicken balls,chicken chow main and beef with onions. The beef and onions was unedible and trestles of plastic. The chow main had next to no flavour. The chicken balls,although edible ,tasted nothing like they used to. Chucked the who,e takeaway in the bin and will not be ordering from there again.
Had the special sliced chicken and pork on rice with sauce. Never had chicken with the same texture as a crab stick before. I think they boiled all the flavour out of something that was supposed to have been roasted. Rice was bland along with the sauce. Truly disappointing.
This is a great traditional Chinese takeout spot. The prices are reasonable and there is a good variety of dishes to choose from. We ordered food for a group of six and we all enjoyed the flavors of each dish, especially the pancake rolls.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The chow mien consisted of noodles, peas, and a few pieces of meat. The onion rings were not freshly cooked and were soggy.
Took 1 and a half hour to get here said 45 mins . Cold and greasy. Never again . Rang them and they said it was coming back from bodmin lol
