Avoid this restaurant. They take advantage of students and refuse to pay their employees. They frequently fire and rehire staff without compensation, especially targeting students who may not pursue legal action. I personally know of four students who have been unfairly terminated and left unpaid for their work. In one instance, a friend arrived early to help during a busy period, only to be fired on the spot for taking a short break. It is best to steer clear of this establishment.
Always been a great pub with lots of history in a historic town...food and beer and service always excellent times just moved on a little new menu and excellent eat in or take a away home cooked foods and delicious sweet menu already prepared and in the fridge cheese cake the best...
Nice pub. Good central-ish location in the town (Given the town is so small any place is virtually central-ish) Very interesting decor and style choices made everywhere in the pub. The food looks very good (But we didn't eat on our visit) and varied.
