Clean, pleasant, nice decorations. Need more Tvs and they need to reprint the menu. One part is crossed out in black marker, and the waitress didn 't tell us that other prices had changed, too. For example, a $10 sandwich shouldn 't surprise you for $13 when it is time to pay. Supposedly, they couldn 't change the billing either, nothing we can do screw you we don 't care. Oh, forgot to mention that if you use a credit card they add a 3% fee, making you cover the transaction cost. (No other restaurants do that. But at least the waitress DID tell us about that. Said there used to be a sign on the door saying as much, but it was gone when we visited.
Water Front Dining A Classic Downriver. Simply LOVE the breakfast specialities with the best sausages and large rye toast, on weekend only really delicious biscuits Gravy . The great old time Grill Top is the most amazing tasting Burger along with the grilled onions. This place was the former Carter's, which is very beautiful, along with a large dining area on the back with a super view of the water. Always a few great soups today was Chicken Dumpling oh yea. Super Special is to go to Burger's, which you can easily walk on the water at the back of the place. Also LOVE this old time milkshakes brought you into the large steel cup.
I work for a non-profit association that has been ordered by this company for years. I have been making at a customer in the restaurant for a last minute that we said we had to buy food to stay so that I bought the case manager my customers then we were told by the waitress that we had to leave them, that they had this through the cook that was a short European woman cooking then telling us that we had to leave there, that we had to eat and then leave it in the way that I had to believe in
beautiful flash and painting. about price for this coney type restaurant and location. $5.99 for a basic cup suppe, I felt a bit much. the food was decent. server was efficient and friendly. I was rejected, a performance cup because we were fed in. it was strange that the bathroom was closed. that made me think that there were incidents of people who go there and make drugs or evil, perhaps not; but why?

Food was fresh, fries nice and hot, crunchy, Turkey burger was very tasty. Great service, friendly staff, cook was interactive and friendly checking to make sure our food was satisfactory. All around 10 stars if I was able. Definitely coming back!!! Not alot of traffic in patrons, but I highly recommend Grand Port if you're looking for good quality tasting food for good prices!!!
This restaurant is really a great place to eat! The staff is very friendly. I probably did it a hundred times and I didn't stop. The food is fresh and homemade. The chicken noodle soup and Corned beef egg rolls are amazing. The menu is a beautiful departure from the run of the mill cones, which occupy every street corner. I enjoyed my meal, and I think you will.
The woman at the counter started yelling at us when we went to the restroom just to wash our hands. When we tried to explain the situation to her, she refused to listen. She was shouting about only being allowed to use the bathroom if you placed an order, but we had already done so.
My waitress was the sweetest attentive server I saw in a while. She smiled and smiled! She was concerned with me and the other customers, as she knew us all. I felt like a parent, it was my first time. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed my breakfast here.

They make delicious breakfast and the family that runs it is very kind. They are in an ideal location along the Detroit River, and I hope that someday they'll have outdoor seating or at least seats with a view of the island and river.
