Ordered through Uber eats, tracked delivery which was acceptable, when it didn’t turn up after 20 mins over predicated time a call was made to the restaurant. A joker on the other end of the phone blamed the bad weather (wet roads from previous rain shower) for the delay, they’re 8 mins up the road! I ordered from here on deliveroo and my food took ages to come, I really wouldn’t have minded however when the food turned up it was stone cold. I ordered a chicken korma that was cold and gritty and my rice and Nan were also cold. After waiting an hour for it to turn up I at least would’ve expected it to be hot. Ive eaten from here a few times before, a few years ago and had no problems so I was really disappointed. We ordered this via Uber eats and stupidly didn’t check the reviews properly beforehand! We ordered a variety of dishes including a chicken lamb and prawn biryani, chicken tikka, a garlic naan, and bhindi bhaji. The biryani was absolutely awful. It had no flavour whatsoever! Honestly felt like I was just eating plain rice. The vegetable curry it came with compromised of a pack of frozen veg dumped in a very oily and tasteless curry sauce. Ordered a takeaway through Deliveroo, the restaurant delivered themselves. The Chicken Chat on Puri was dry and had too many onions in it. The Chicken Tikka Ceylon main dish, which we ordered two of, was nothing more than a korma it was very tasteless. When we have had Ceylon dishes elsewhere, they have been very HOT (at least madras hot! The Keema Rice had almost meat in it. The Bombay Aloo, although it was cooked OK, was laced in tomato puree (not nice ! Why are we paying for a Chicken Tikka Ceylon (which is supposed to be a hot dish , when we only got a korma? We have not even tried the Keema Naan yet not expecting much from that either unfortunately. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

We have used this restaurant for many years for delivery and dine in. We probably order every 3 months or so. We have given them the benefit of the doubt the last couple of times with missing items (which they brought later) and late deliveries. But we thought we would give one last try this Saturday We ordered at 18:12 and it arrived at 20:00 (after chasing up) We were also due a free Bombay Aloo for orders over £30 which we also did not get. The dishes are nowhere near as authentic as they used to be more generic looking and tasting. The flavours are also bland.
Where do I start?? Ordered a Uber takeaway. What was delivered was actually probably is the worst Indian takeaway I have had. Raw uncooked doughy naan, a sickly sweet CRIMSON coloured paneer dish.. a jalfrezi which they seem to have forgotten to cook fully.. I don’t get why these Bangladeshi chefs don’t just open up bangi fish and rice restaurants, that’s there staple back home.. leave the Indian to Indian chefs.. Ordered a takeaway online which was 25 mins for collection. They rang and got told 15 mins after 10 mins got there in 15 minutes only to wait another 15 minutes so 40 in total. Didn’t seem to trust customers so only cook food when u arrive. Food quality gone downhill along with portions. Seems they focus more on hotel element now as they had run out of beer and tandoori chicken. Won’t be back
Ordered take away. BIG MISTAKE. Food full of old oil. Sag prawn was all old oil. Cauliflower bhaji was so hard couldn’t cut it. Had a couple of mouthfuls of my prawn sag and felt sick! This used to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I could have easily cooked better myself. What a waste of money! Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t eat from this restaurant!

Had a takeaway delivered. Had a chicken jalfrezi absolutely bang on flavours. Hot and spicey. Ice amount of chilli. Also had a chicken tikka biriyani which was lovely. Korma was a bit underwhelming. Breads were nice. Can’t really fault it. Blinding delivery driver. Great staff at the restaurant who called when they couldn’t find me. I’ll be using them again.
