If you know me, you know I know supper clubs. I have been to the Greenwood a couple of times over the past 20 years. I would have gone more but it's hard to find it open. I only give it two stars because the resturant staff was very nice and the food was decent. What is sad is this place has such great potential. It has a great history. The grounds are beautiful. Good location. A good size dining room. A big bar and the food I had was good. So you ask yourself then what's wrong? Well it's hard to put my finger on it but I don't think it's just one thing. I think it's lots of little things. First the bar. Large but cluttered and dated. Get rid of the video poker machines and the ugly wallpape...

Oh dear, where do I even begin? Tonight was our first visit to the Greenwood Supper Club. Having grown up in Door County, I had heard about this place for years, so my husband and I decided it was finally time to try it out. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. My husband ordered a half-pound Angus cheeseburger, and when it arrived, it was no thicker than a McDonald's hamburger. It came without any lettuce, tomato, onion, or any other toppings. He ended up sending it back. I opted for a light meal, choosing a cup of soup and a salad. The turkey noodle soup had no flavor, and the dinner salad consisted of just iceberg lettuce with a few slices of cucumber. It certainly wasn't worth the $9...
The tableside service was outstanding. It truly felt like an authentic Wisconsin Supper Club experience. The food was excellent, with the meal including soup, salad, and a choice of potato alongside the entrée. For dessert, we enjoyed a delightful local cherry pie! My salmon portion was generous, and I had the choice to have it peppered, almondine, or blackened. The bar is situated in a separate area that also has dining options. There’s nothing artificial or overly modern about the place—it's genuine to the old Door County charm. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and inviting, complemented by the fantastic waitstaff. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The scallop dinner featured three delicious scallops, but it felt more suited for lunch than dinner due to the small portion size. The T-bone steak, however, was outstanding and cooked to perfection. As they are a new establishment, it's understandable that they are still adjusting their inventory; unfortunately, they had run out of baked potatoes and Caesar salad, and the selection of dressings was limited. Overall, we look forward to coming back soon to see if these initial bumps in the road have been addressed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Book a table now
The best fish fry in Wisconsin is definitely a consensus! I also tried the Prime Rib (King Cut), and it was incredible! It was the most tender piece of meat I've ever had! I appreciated that it came with a salad and a choice of side instead of being sold à la carte. If you’re visiting the county, this is a must-stop! The place is rich in history and truly unique!
We kicked off our evening with cocktails at the bar, where we were greeted by the friendly bartender, Steve Martin. It's no surprise that the bar area quickly filled up, given the charming supper club atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and welcoming crowd. We'll definitely be back!
I was glad to see they're hanging on for dear life! Even though they're only open a little bit, quality was through the roof! Loved the grilled whitefish, Sheree adored the prime rib. I believe we posted pix and tagged on Instagram.
Terrible experience! I wouldn’t even give it one star if I could help it. I will NEVER return! It used to be one of our favorite places, but it has declined significantly, even since last year. Book a table now
Never been there, my great grampa use to frequent the place. I think he helped build it. His name was John hogan.

"We came for a pre-valentine’s dinner. The food was from the 1979’s with today’s prices. Not good. Over priced. Really it was terrible!"
