Only stayed one night at Greyfriars, but it was an excellent experience! I travelled from Canada with my cousin, and we were warmly greeted by Craig, who was able to check us in with speed and ease, which was greatly appreciated. The room was simple, but exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. We were looked after by Fiona the next morning, and she was such a great help! Very friendly and accommodating to let us store our bags after checkout. The included breakfast the next morning was very delicious and filling. I'll be sure to stay at Greyfriars again and will recommend it to anyone who is travelling there! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!
Enjoyed my stay here. Basic hotel with bar and restaurant. Kitchen burnt toast could be avoided if guests made own toast. However nice breakfast. Good central location in St Andrews, for town, bars, restaurants and universities. Take a walk down the harbour, nice coastal walk. Rooms fine, can hear other guests in adjacent rooms and in corridor, but during my stay this was not a drama. Staff always helpful, including booking early taxi to train station at Leuchars.
We stayed here for one night and were very happy with our stay! Craig was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Fiona was absolutely lovely serving breakfast, and also helping us find a place to store our luggage since we had some time between checking out and our bus. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area! Big thanks again to Fiona!
Ordered the chicken and bacon sandwich x2 and share chicken wings Sandwich was cheap white bread with sandwich filler , side salad with balsamic water melon Wings has been microwaved Left feeling very unsatisfied after spending £48 on a lunch , that a Tesco meal deal would match Noticed the central also has the same menu Stay away from there overpriced **** and pick somewhere else in the town

Amazing food, servers were very good. Fiona tended to us and was absolutely lovely. BEST service since landing in the UK from California. I had the fish chips, hubby had their steak Ale pie....both were delicious. Seems like this restaurant St. Andrews is VERY Dog Friendly, wish I could've brought my puppers! 100% Great place!! Thanks Fiona for making us feel welcome!
Went for a quick bar lunch and I was very happy with the quality and quantity of the food served. One fish supper and one gammon steak were both very good quality and the service was also very good. Thanks to Fiona for her care and attention and she made sure we were served well and happy with the quality of the food.
Stayed for last drinks at The Jigger then made our way in to town they were serving drinks well beyond midnight. Full bar, classic setting and everything you need. Didn’t eat but seem to have a full menu. Couple of TVs which were showing the golf live.
Unsure of rooms, as not staying there. Only for drinks. Within walking distance of Town Centre. Pretty much all bars are within walking distance of each other. Friendly bar staff, good selection of drinks. Service: 5 Location: 5

Great local pub with excellent service. I had the steak and ale pie and it was delicious—piping hot! This was the best meal I have had on my trip to Scotland so far. I highly recommend! Five stars for me.
Great place to watch football and good choices for food and drink. Good atmosphere with multiple viewing points. Friendly staff and good service
