I ordered the chicken melt with cheese and bacon, and it was served hot and fresh alongside potato salad and cream of chicken soup topped with homemade croutons. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and the waitresses are fantastic as well. They have additional staff to refill water and coffee, ensuring excellent service. This place is a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch only. If you enjoy fresh ingredients and delicious food, you absolutely need to give it a try!
Additionally, the booths inside are in poor condition, to the point that I could feel the wood beneath me when I sat down. They seem to be held together by tape. I was advised to choose any seat, but only one was available that didn’t have leftover items from previous guests. The price hike is outrageous as well — $43 for two people is not worth it for the level of service we received. I’ll be looking for other dining options.
By far the nicest owner and best quality restaurant of this type I have ever been to!!We just went here for take out of course. The owner Gus is truly a gem. He is so nice and accomodating. And the food is fabulous! Sandwiches are fresh, cream of chicken soup is my favorite. I can't wait to go in and eat, the restaurant is so cute!Thanks Gus!!

If you're looking for an excellent restaurant, you're going to love this place. Authentic dining experiences are hard to find, but Gus's has it all. It features a fantastic ambiance, an extensive menu, and prompt, friendly service. On top of that, they offer a delicious cup of coffee. I can't wait to go back!
Always a great experience. Food is delicious. I usually get Ham steak and eggs or the Huevos rancheros skillet. I like the saltiness of the ham with the eggs or the crunch of the jalapeño in the huevos rancheros. Best of all, the live up to their saying, come as strangers, leave as friends.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the staff is exceptional. The moment you walk in, you are greeted like family. The drinks are always refilled promptly and the portion sizes are generous. I could easily dine here every single day.
Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, and an amazing staff and owner. On my latest visit, I tried the Irish Benedict, and it was excellent—definitely recommend it! Still giving it a 5/5! Book a table now
