Jane catered the ice cream for our wedding in her lovely VW camper van trailer and it was perfect. My wife and I met Jane at her shop before the event for a tasting and were blown away by just how good the ice cream is. From the rich chocolate to the wonderfully juicy fruit flavours (and a superb salted caramel, which everyone should try) they were the best we'd ever tasted. Amazing ice cream! A big bonus for us was that it was suitable for our nut-allergic son, who almost never gets this sort of ice cream treat. The lady was very knowledgeable about her ingredients as it’s homemade, and made sure she got a fresh scoop for him too. He declared it the best ice cream ever! The coffee was also delicious, piping hot served in beautiful eco-friendly cups with different designs. Highly recommend and not just for the summer, the hot chocolate looked amazing too and there was a lovely selection of gifts in the shop.
We are big ice cream fans and have sampled extensively around the country and indeed the world. This is simply the best. We visited every day we were in Lavenham and worked our way through vanilla, salted caramel, rhubarb, lemon curd, cherry ripple and honeycomb. Hard to chose a fave as all were superlative. Went for brekkie on our last day and had the hot chocolate made with Orford's Pump St chocolate. Such a treat. Do not miss this place. And the proprietor is lovely and a font of all ice cream knowledge.
Such a pretty shop we could not walk past without trying the ice cream here.. myself and daughter were quite obsessed with the salted caramel flavour, the best we’d ever tasted anywhere!
