we called to start a walk around lavenham coffee and also picked up 2 delicious homemade 3 cheese scenes fresh from the one. the owner could not have been nicer, and the prices were very reasonable. at the end of our long walk we were ready for another drink and although lavenham has many tea shopping, we decided to go for the afternoon, which was also excellent. again the owner was friendly and when he was asked, he gave us some tips for our visit to bury st edmunds the next day.

what a nice experience was lunch in sweetmeats. Eclectic, funky and the food was delicious (and reasonable price! . no boring sandwiches here, but handmade to order delicious food. salads, suppening, cakes, warm meals, beautiful coffee and somehow, apart from serving and cooking and baking and prepping, the owner also manages to make delicious ice, chocolate and fudge. we cannot recommend this place enough. graham and jane
