Overpriced super salty deli food, small portions compared to any real deli.I got the pastrami here. Thr full was like the size of a homemade sandwich your mom would make you as a kid.The pastrami was over saltedThe pasta salad side was super sour and overdressed and came in a little sauce cup thing.I paid $16 for the meal . While this isnt much more than some delis, delis give you double the portion of everything.
I truly believe this place serves the best sandwiches and salads in Chicago—no question about it! My favorites are the North Ave Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the Cobb salad; I could happily eat them every day for the next decade! The staff is wonderful, which enhances the overall experience. I highly recommend trying any sandwich on the menu; you won’t be disappointed!
We ordered delivery and I was craving a pastrami sandwich. While the sandwich was generous in size, the meat lacked flavor, which was disappointing. My husband opted for a beef sandwich with giardiniera and horseradish sauce, and he also found it surprisingly underwhelming. On a positive note, the salads were quite good. I would be willing to give it another try.
The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff is equally fantastic! Juan and Alyssa offer excellent recommendations on what to choose. They are quick with my orders and always incredibly friendly. I rate it 10/10—I've been a regular for months! Book a table now
