Unfortunately, that’s where the real issues began. Every single appetizer was worse than the last, leaving us disappointed and concerned. We ordered three appetizers: Hot Honey Tails $13): Described as boneless chicken strips battered in hot and honey sauce, served with a side of bleu cheese. People will rate 4 and 5 stars for average, and that 's being nice, food. Not me. This is a bar. Bar food is pretty easy to master. But this place struggles to do just that. I live in the area and have stopped in periodically since it changed from the muskett tavern. I have a pretty good handle on this place. The service is always pretty good, and the large bar is great, but let 's get to the food. Pizza is bad. As a bar, the pizza has to be good. Not here. Cheap cheese and the crust not crisp. Fair disclosure I have not tried the flatbreads. Nacho 's? One of the worst I ever had. More cheap cheese, no meat to be found, and a TON of jalapeños. Plus the chips were stale. Burgers unremarkable....
