I met three friends here for lunch who are regulars at this restaurant and really enjoy the food. Since it was my first visit, I decided to try the tacos. The service was excellent, and the food arrived hot right after it was prepared. My tacos were served first, and I found the sauce and seasonings to be quite good. However, I thought the chicken was a bit dry and really needed the sauce. The steak was also cooked a little too well for my taste, resulting in it being dry as well. I won't order those again next time, but I'll definitely try the quesadilla or enchiladas as they looked more appealing than my dish. 10/10, I absolutely love this place! I dined here a couple of weeks ago and forgot to share my experience. I've been here twice, and each time has been fantastic! The food is delicious, the strawberry margaritas are incredible, and the staff is very friendly. If I didn't live all the way in St. Petersburg, I'd be here all the time! Don't let the exterior fool you; the plaza looks a bit worn down, but once you step inside and enjoy the meal, it’s truly wonderful!
I visited for the first time yesterday and found the atmosphere a bit lacking, as there weren't many customers and it had the scent of an older establishment. However, the service was exceptional; the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The complimentary salsa and chips were fantastic—very fresh! The torta, served on a soft and fluffy bread, was absolutely incredible. It felt like a taste of Mexico in sandwich form. I will definitely be returning!
Happy Cactus is a must-visit! It's hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Dunedin. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, and the service is incredibly friendly. Their sangria is delightful as well. And let me highlight how clean the place is—even the restrooms are spotless. I can't wait to return again and again!

The Quesabirrias and the Suizas Enchiladas with beef and creamy red sauce are absolutely delicious. Finding quality Mexican food can be a challenge, but you can really taste the authenticity in their recipes, as the owners are from Mexico City.
The Mexican-style food here is incredibly flavorful; I can't wait to come back! I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5.
