While we found the pub charming and typically Suffolk in style, we were disappointed by the Landlord's outdated and rude attitude. He seemed more focused on drinking with his regulars than on meeting the needs of his visiting customers. It was unfortunate that his narrow-minded behavior affected our experience.
An impromptu visit with the dog in tow. Food served all day. Dogs welcome. Good standard pub menu. A nice classic styled pub with a good selection of drinks and the food was freshly cooked, hot, tasty and sensibly sized and priced. Oh and complimentary biscuits for the dog… What’s not to like?
We frequent this pub often for meals, but decided to stop by on Friday. We ordered a chicken burger with chips in a basket and hot and spicy chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and lacked salad dressing, which was very disappointing.
I visited this pub on a Friday evening and was greeted warmly. The food was delicious and well-priced. I enjoyed a few drinks, had a chance to unwind, and left feeling satisfied. I will definitely be returning. Thank you. Book a table now
After many years went back .just as good as it always was ,easy to park nice staff very clean.nice village to explore . Don't know about the food if they do any but only went for a drink
The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. it was a real pleasure. The pub is quite small but the menu is extensive and all comes up piping hot. Well done all.
