The place was crowed with long tables family style. The drinks were good but too expensive for the size. My mojito was full of ice little rum fir I ordered Dylan Bistec and I expected a good size piece of meat. Instead I got what amounted to fajitas with small amount of meat and lots of onions and peppers for I was still hungry. We ordered calamari and instead of being lightly breaded as described, they were very similar to pre-packed onion rings that you get at Dennyâs fir half the price. I was looking forward to a nice Valentines Day dinner and I was very disappointed! I have been to many Cuban restaurants in Miami and have better quality food for less money from street venders
I love love LOVE this place. I always rate it stars and if I could, I would rate it higher. The only issue this time was that I made a reservation for and they sat us against a wall where the kitchen was close and had no view of the singer. When we asked to be moved, it seemed to be a problem. Listen, I'm a bit spoiled to having a better table and thought since I made a reservation I would get a better table, which wasn't the case. This will not stop me from coming here or recommending it. I highly recommend and highly recommend asking for a both or table more central.
Very nice restaurant, better than you would expect in a mini-mall! Pretty decor and delicious food. I had fried cow which is beef that was shredded, marinated, and then sauteed crispy. My companion had garlic chicken, which was also delicious.
We used to dine here fairly often, and stopped in because we were in the neighborhood. Service is still excellent, and food is authentic Cuban. However, the portion sizes have shrunk, and prices have gone up. (thatâs a bad combination)
