Fantastic brunch spot in the suburbs. White Dog did not disappoint this Saturday. Friendly reminder, on a weekend, it is likely you'll have a 1+Hr wait with no reservation (bar seating here, however, is first come first served). Highly recommend the butternut squash soup. It's poured over candied pecans and thinly sliced green apples, it's amazing. The Avocado BLT was fantastic large, full sandwich, and you can't go wrong with the truffle fries it comes with. Had brunch today with girlfriends visiting from out of state. There were a few hiccups between placing the order and receiving our food. But I won't go into details about the hiccups because the intent of my post is to highlight that our waitress was super sweet throughout and management was patient with us, professional, and very attentive. Thank you for delivering excellent customer service (and thank you, Chef, for accommodating my side salad).
Very disappointing- was craving g the mushroom soup, even on a hot day. Server never brought it and after main course was delivered, never even split was forgotten. One person was never served their meal. Dessert was awful. Ice cream delivered melted. No one checked in at all. And special b'day dessert was ordered and reminded upon arrival...never showed.

my wife did not care for her waffles at all, they looked and were greasy. My mushroom omelette, however, was really good. Interior nice especially if you like dogs.
