Absolutely amazing food! Everything tasted so great and just like home! Super hard to find a decent American restaurant, but this place hit the mark! Staff was super friendly and sat us as quickly as they could. Was told a 40 minute wait, but it was more like 30. Our waiter was very nice and accommodated us as best as he could! It's very cute and clean restaurant. Was a bit hot because of all the heat lamps around, but still a very enjoyable nice. Pretty expensive, paid about £78 for 2. Tip is already included in the bill at the end. Totally worth it, we had a great time!
Went for my wife’s 50th, arrived 5mins early to be asked to wait in the bar, which was absolutely crowded. We was seated at Table 10 which located near the door to the outside eating area and it was a swing door. We would have asked to be seated elsewhere but, it was busy and there was a rowdy group of guys which the manager had to tell them to quieten down. Food was delicious, The strawberry milkshake didn’t even taste of strawberries, the soda my wife had wasn’t the best, we was there in total 1hr and called it a night!
Firstly the restaurant is a little of a warren in that there are various areas that do not flow and busy it becomes a problem. In some this restaurant is a victim of its own success. The food was always at Hickory's excellent and service from Chelsea and Tracey was premier league standard.
Every time we visit Chester, my husband and I make sure to reserve a table at this restaurant. It's our top choice. The food is fantastic and the staff are incredible - always warm, engaging, and accommodating. Dining here is always a pleasure. I would highly recommend it.

We absolutely adore Hickories, it never disappoints. The food and service are consistently fantastic and we have never had a negative experience. However, we can't help but wonder what secret activities take place behind the exclusive sports bar area for members only.
Our family had a very good experience this evening. Service was exceptional by all staff. Casey primarily looked after us and was friendly and efficient. The food was good quality. Particularly recommend the brisket main and the bacon bites starter.
Food was delicious and plentiful, almost too much. Staff were helpful and friendly Menu is specific cuisine so not everyone's choice but if you like this style of cooking you'd be hard pushed to find better at this price Great atmosphere
