Update of my Yelp review on 9/12/22: Finally, on 9/14, I received an email from the owner of Highland Gourmet Scones (HGS) stating: on your claim with UPS we 'll be sending a replacement for the 5 broken scones to you today. However, I adamantly communicated to HGS that the damage to my original order was not the fault of UPS (neither the tin nor the box was showing any abuse). Furthermore, I was uncomfortable with HGS filing a claim on my behalf passing on the final determination to UPS. On 9/16, I received a tin with SIX scones, which I thought was fair under all the circumstances previously noted in my 9/12 review. So, I do not declare myself as as dessert person. I don’t lean in to sweets and never really have a craving for them ever. Frankly speaking, I don’t believe I had ever even had a scone before having a sample pack of yours.My uncle got me a tin which container a couple golden raisin, the orange cranberry, hazelnut chocolate chip, and lemon blueberry…..It was a borderline religious experience. Goosebumps on the arms good. Needless to say, you’ve set a very VERY high bar. So much so I’m hesitant to try another scone.I could not go without commenting.Well done. Bravo. Tip of the cap. You’ve created art.
The special Valentine scones were so amazing!! From the clever way they were packed in the tin to the amazing usual deliciousness but the heart-shaped density made them even better tasting! Just like a dense piece of chocolate vs a thinner chocolate bar gives a denser flavor, these shapes give a denser flavor. Great treat for my Valentines me! . Thank you once again HGS!!
The golden raisin scones are absolutely delightful. They are rich and buttery, and their texture is exactly what a real scone should be. I received some as a gift and plan to give them as presents throughout the year.

First time having a scone from this place and it's the best I've ever had! Literally so good! I've only had the toasted coconut. Will definitely come for more! Amazing is the word to describe it.
Without a doubt, the best scones in town! The owners are wonderful, and everything tastes freshly baked. Be sure to try the Mocha chocolate chip! I highly recommend it—5 out of 5 stars!
